Biography[]
Batman (1943 serial)[]
Alfred assisted Batman and Robin in their battle with Prince Daka throughout the serial. He is quite jumpy and scatterbrained through the whole serial, but he is still loyal to his master and Dick.
Batman and Robin (1949 serial)[]
After the events of the first serial, Alfred has become more mature and intelligent in this serial. He assissted his master by contacting him on the Batcave's phone, seeing the Bat-Signal from Wayne Manor's window, and often tricks Vicki Vale into leaving the manor. When Bruce was captured by The Wizard's men, Alfred disguised himself as Batman to fool them while Robin rescues Bruce. At the end, he used a record playing Bruce's voice to fool Vicki by saying that he's out of town.

- This version of Alfred is the first live-action incarnation doesn't carry the surname, "Beagle" or "Pennyworth", the second is the 1960s TV series incarnation.
