The Assassination of Carmine Falcone was the final murder by the serial killer known as the Riddler.
Background[]
After defeating several of Falcone Crime syndicate members,Batman convinces Selina Kyle not kill Carmine Falcone, Batman takes him into police custody.
Assassination[]
Whilst Falcone is being taken into custody his lieutenant the Penguin comments on how Falcone was the rat in the Sal Maroni case this annoys the mob boss who says before Penguin was employed by him, Cobblepot was a gimp in an empty suit to which Penguin attempts to shoot Falcone on for Falcone to be shot dead by The Riddler.Penguin is the held down by some officers claiming he didn’t shoot his former boss.Falcone then succumbs to his wounds.
Aftermath[]
After the shooting the police then charge into The Riddler’s flat to apprehend him. With Falcone dead Cobblepot inherits his former employer’s empire.
