Bat-Shuriken are small razors thrown by Batman, usually to disarm an opponent by flinging them at an enemy's forearm. They are the modern alternative to the traditional large folding-Batarangs. Bat-Shuriken are instantly recognizable as Batman usually holds three of the between his fingers, also using them during melee combat. Sometimes they are coated with poison to knockout or frighten thugs.

Bruce Wayne mastered the art of Shuriken throwing while studying with Shinobi master Tsunetomo at his Kakure-Zato in Japan. While piecing together his early Utility Belt tools he fashioned these scalloped-razors to resemble bat wings, using them as shuriken. These were vital stealth weapons used when Batman first infiltrated Falcone's compound in Gotham City years later.
