Plot Summary[]
"Poison Ivy's Deadly Kiss"[]
Batman, Robin, Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara investigate the mysterious death of Louie the Lilac, who was seemingly killed by a poisoned kiss. Later at the Batcave, Batman analyses the lipstick that was used to poison Louie, and he discovers that the chemical came from a rare and deadly flowering bush called, "Rosa Carulea".
Receiving a call from Gordon, Batman and Robin head over to headquarters where Batman interrogates Louie's henchman, Phyl, who fearfully gave him the information on whom the killer is. Heading over to the old Isley Nursery in the Batmobile, Batman remembers when he visited the nursery with his mother when he was a young boy after the Isley family opened it, and Bruce meets their daughter, Pamela. One day, Pamela's father became ill when he got exposed to nettles from a tropical bush that had been mislabelled as harmless, leading the Isleys to move back to the south and the nursery's closure.
As they walked through the overgrown gardens, Batman and Robin get captured by vines, that brought them to the greenhouse where they meet Pamela Isley, now calling herself, "Poison Ivy". She explains that she had been supplying Louie with his flowering weapons during his previous crimes, and she isolated herself with the deadly plant killed her father, and created a formula that makes "Flower People" or "Henchplants".
After explaining her motives, Ivy prepares to feed the Dynamic Duo to a giant Jupiter flytrap. As Ivy and her plant creatures left, Batman and Robin managed to escape the plant by gassing it, and head to the Batmobile to stop Ivy.
Meanwhile, Ivy rampages through Gotham City while riding a walking mutated tree, while her henchplants rob the banks and jewellery stores. Stopping at Catwoman's old dance club, Ivy gasses the panicking dancers with snore spores to calm them down, and dances for a while. While dancing, Ivy was confronted by Batman and Robin, and after a brief scuffle, she made her escape on her giant tree.
As Ivy rode down the streets of Gotham, Batman caught up with her on his Batrope, and with help from Alfred using the Batmobile's grow light, led her to police headquarters. Taking her to the morgue, Ivy uses a moss to bring Louie back to life, reversing the effect of her poisonous kiss. Before Ivy was led away to her cell, she gives Batman a kiss on the lips, much to the surprise of Robin, Gordon and O'Hara.
