The Batmobile Ambush was an event that occurred on the streets of Gotham City.
Events surrounding[]
After the Tragedy at the Hippodrome from last night, Two-Face and his thugs planned to ambush Batman in their cars.
The ambush[]
While on his nightly patrol in the Batmobile, after seeing the Bat-Signal, Batman used his video screen to monitor Two-Face's thugs following him in their cars. Up ahead, a cloaked figure walks across the road, pushing a baby carriage, in front of the Batmobile. Suddenly, the figure pulls off his cloak, revealing himself to be Two-Face in disguise. Seizing a rocket launcher from the baby carriage, Two-Face aims at the Batmobile, but Batman manoeuvred the car sideways, just as Two-Face the launcher, hitting one of his thugs' cars instead, killing two of his men.
The chase through the streets[]
As Two-Face cries at his miss, more of his thugs arrived in their cars. Seeing more cars on his monitor, Batman accelerates the Batmobile past Two-Face, who angrily throws his rocket launcher onto the road. As the thugs open fire on the Batmobile, Two-Face boards his armored car and joins the pursuit.
Aftermath[]
As Two-Face and his thugs pursue the Batmobile through the streets of Gotham, Batman turns down a blind alley, with Two-Face convoy behind him. Seeing a building at the end of the alley, Batman activated the Batmobile's front thruster and grappling system that was built into the car's nose, and lifts the Batmobile onto the building's wall and ascended up the wall, just as Two-Face's thugs crash into the wall below. Arriving at the crash site in his car, Two-Face watches the Batmobile ascend the wall, causing him to scream in rage.
