Battleaxe was an assassin and member of the Suicide Squad.
History[]
Nothing is known about Battleaxe's origin, or how she came to work for the Suicide Squad.
Battleaxe makes an appearnce along with other members of the Squad in Markovia at the same time Katana was there fighting Kobra. The group interevend as she was making her escape from Kobra's forces. The battle was close to won, but Kobra escaped thanks to the Marlovian military's attempts to attack. Once the battle ends, Battleaxe compliments Katana but gets the cold shoulder.
On their move against Kobra's volcano base, Battleaxe and Digger trade banter along the way to their target. When they encounter a patrol, the team takes them out and dons their gear to sneak into the base. Battleaxe is unsre the plan will work, but Katana thinks so, so she decides to go along. They manage to gather intel, but their cover is blown. The group went into a tunnel for cover, but it turns out to be where Kobra is directing the lava flow. They manage to seal the tunnel, but Heatstroke is too fatigued to walk. Katana asks Battleaxe to help, but she refuses until Deadshot orders her to. They reach the end of the tunnel, only to be captured by Kobra forces, who have taken over the capital.
While King Kobra gloats over his victory, Katana and the Squad escape their restraints and try to fight off Kobra's forces. However, Lady Eve gives King Kobra a device that triggers the bombs in the Squad member's necks. He tests it on Battleaxe, killing her and revealing the purpose of the implants to Kobra.

Battleaxe has no actual powers, relying on her close combat skills and the two-headed axe that she is named for.
