The Batwing was a custom aircraft used by Batman to fly around the airspace of Gotham and travel internationally at short notice. The craft was created after its predecessor was destroyed in a confrontation with the Joker. Batman made use of the Batwing after coming out of retirement to help the Flash free Supergirl and battle General Zod.
