Bryan Murphy was an account manager at the Gotham Merchant's Bank, as well as a murder victim.
History[]
Batman: Arkham Origins[]
Some time prior to Christmas Eve, Bryan Murphy was convinced by the infamous con-artist, Robert Hanes, into pulling an insurance scam against the Gotham Merchant's Bank in exchange for a cut on the fee. However, Murphy began to have second thoughts and planned to expose the scam to either the GCPD or his bosses at the Merchant's Bank. Unfortunately for Murphy, Hanes anticipated that crisis in conscience and silenced him by pushing him over a broken railing onto Jezebel Plaza, and Murphy died instantly from internal injuries from the high-velocity impact. Batman heard of the fall via a police scanner, managed to solve the murder, found Hanes, and apprehended him.
