The character of Catwoman is affiliated with keeping many pet cats, many of which assist her in her life of crime. In modern continuities she identifies with cats due to having identified with them while growing up alone in the harsh streets of Gotham. Selina has an unexplainable connection with the animals, even with new cats she has never met before.[1]

Diablo was a loyal black-panther pet of Catwoman. He got poisoned by the terrorist Darkwolf around the time that Selina re-entered Bruce's life. Despite Selina's work to find a cure, Diablo died and was buried in Gotham by Bruce when he presumed Selina to be likewise deceased.

Hecate was Catwoman's pet black-cat in the comics who she schemed alongside.

Otto was a siamese cat kept in the apartment of Selina and Holly Robinson from before Selina became Catwoman. Like Selina, Otto was drawn to The Batman and encountered him one night, even distracting the GCPD before they were able to arrest Batman.

Batman: The Movie[]

Catwoman is accompanied by Hecate in this movie. Catwoman would comedically use Hecate as an enforcer, tossing her at enemies while telling the cat to, "Sic'em".

In the 1992 motion picture, Selina primarily cares for a cat named Miss Kitty, in addition to numerous other local alleycats that she feeds. When Max Schreck pushes Selina out a window, she is inspected by a number of her alleycats after falling through a series awnings on the side of the building. The cats crawl about their injured caretaker in the snowdrift, one of them even gnaws at her finger. Selina then allows all of the cats to linger back in her apartment as she crafts her catsuit. At the end of the film, she leaves Miss Kitty in Bruce's care after she disappears.

The Batman[]

In this film, Selina keeps a number of alley-cats in her apartment, stating she, "has a thing for strays".

Batman: The Animated Series[]

This series introduced Catwoman's pet cat, "Isis", named for the Egyptian goddess. Catwoman is intelligent and trained to assist Catwoman in committing robberies, sneaking into museums to sneak past their security and claim jewelry.
