Christmas is a winter holiday that is celebrated on 25th of December. Christmas themes and festivities have appeared in numerous Batman stories since the 40s.

- Batman #9 Batman's first Christmas story in 1942. Bruce Wayne says that he donates gifts to a local orphange every year. Later Batman surprises Robin with a Christmas party where they are joined by Linda Page and Commisioner Gordon.
- Batman #219 (1970) - The Silent Night of the Batman: Batman is urged to cease his patrol by Commisioner Gordon and join GCPD Christmas party. At one point Batman shown singing with a group of Carolers.[1]

- Batman Returns - The movie opens with a Lighting of the Tree Ceremony conducted by a Christmas themed beauty queen called the the Ice Princess. After the tree is attacked by Organ Grinder and the Red Triangle Gang, a Relighting of the Tree Ceremony is again conducted in Gotham Plaza where Batman is framed for the murder of the Ice Princess with Christmas shoppers attacked by a swarm of Bats coming from the tree. A mockery of Santa's List is created by this version of the Penguin, who plans to slaughter the first born sons of Gotham on Christmas Eve.
- The Dark Knight Rises - This film is al set during the winter, seasonal decor can be seen on display.
