Charles "Chuckie" Sol was a gangster in Gotham City. He was previously a lieutenant of Salvatore Valestra.
History[]
Early Life[]
Before Batman donned his cowl, Sol, along with Valestra and Buzz Bronski confronted Carl Beaumont at his house after he embezzled money from them. When his daughter, Andrea, arrived home after proposing to Bruce, she found the mobsters' confrontation with her father. After Carl begged Valestra to give him more time to gain more money to pay them, Valestra agreed, but he warns Carl that if they have the money by then, he will have him killed. As Valestra, Sol, and Bronski left, Sol gave Andrea an evil smile before he left.
Later life and death[]
Years later, Sol started his own gang and began importing counterfeit money around Gotham.
During a meeting with his gang at a casino, Batman crashed the meeting and defeated Sol's men while Sol ran to the casino parking garage.
As Sol was running to his car, he was confronted by a mysterious cloaked figure with a deep voice. At first, Sol thought it was Batman, but when the figure stepped out of the shadows, he realised that it wasn't Batman. When the figure raises his blade-like gauntlet at Sol, he gets distracted by a passing car, giving Sol the chance to run to his car.
Starting the engine, Sol drives towards the cloaked figure, who leaps onto the bonnet of his car, and smashes the windshield his bladed gauntlet. As the figure tries to grab Sol, the frightened mobster knocks him off the car, and with a wicked smile, he spins his car around to run over the cloaked figure, but the figure shoots off a cloud of smoke and leapt out of the way, just as Sol drove into the smoke.
As the smoke clears, Sol finds himself driving towards the wall of the parking garage. Losing control, Sol crashes through the wall of the garage, and crash lands into an adjacent building, killing him instantly. Arriving at the scene, Batman finds Sol's smashed car inside the adjacent building, and some onlookers assumed that Batman murdered Sol.
On the next night, Bronski visited Sol's grave at Gotham Cemetery, where he, too, was killed by the cloaked figure.

Chuckie Sol in Batman: Bad Blood
Sol appeared in the 2016 animated movie, Batman: Bad Blood However, this version is a mob accountant, and his face was covered by a sack, and he was voiced by Matthew Mercer.
In the movie, he was captured by a gang of Batman's enemies who interrogated him for Black Mask's weapon shipment date.
When Batwoman arrived to confront the villains, Sol cries that he is just the accountant, only for Electrocutioner shuts him up with an electrified punch.
When Batman arrived at the warehouse to stop the interrogation, Sol was killed in an explosion, while Batman went missing, and while Batwoman and the villains survived.
