Chugg was Zarbor's robot assistant on the planet Ergo. He only appeared in The New Adventures of Batman episode, Have an Evil Day (Part 2).
History[]
During the power outage on Ergo, Chugg became worn out from his lack of energy. When Zarbor went to Gotham City on Earth and stole the ten nuclear power plants, Zarbor returned to Ergo and ordered Chugg to place one of the plants onto the top of the city's climate dome, much to Chugg's chargin due to his tiredness, but Zarbor tells him that he'll soon have energy to burn, before shooing him outside.
Starting the second part of his plan, Zarbor sends out a radio announcement throughout the city about the people of Ergo living in darkness, but with their homes lit up by candles, but with the energy from the power plants he stole, they will have oodles of it. As part of his demonstration, Zarbor enlarges the power plant that was placed on the city's dome and turns it on, causing the city to light up, and Chugg gaining more energy from. As Chugg happily speeds through the city, Zarbor tells the people that energy could be theirs, if they make him their ruler, before turning off the power, and Chugg goes back to being worn out again.
Meanwhile, Batman and Robin, after travelling to Ergo, spot Chugg flying overhead, and Robin throws his Batrope at him, which catches onto his rear. As Chugg heads off to Zarbor's hideout, he takes Robin with him. At the same time, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Clayface, who also arrived on Ergo, confront Zarbor for double-crossing them, but he captures them and placed them in a glass case, along with Robin.
When Batman and the Ergonian Police surround the building, Zarbor sends energy into an army of robots that were stored inside a warehouse. After Zarbor sends the robots to attack, Chugg begs to him for wanting a shot of energy too, but Zarbor refuses and tells him to go away. While Zarbor observes his robot army encasing the Ergonian Police officers in bubbles, Chugg betrays him by setting the four villains free, but Zarbor escaped with the power plants.
Chugg later accompanies the four villains on a hover car to an abandoned fairground, but Zarbor activates some of the animatronics to frightened them, and after they were captured by a clown animatron, Batman, Robin and the Ergonian Police capture them in a net.
What became of Chugg was unknown.
