Clayface was a criminal operating in Gotham City. As part of a scheme orchestrated by "Harvey Dent", he impersonated Bruce Wayne's grandfather Adrian Arkham.
History[]
Clayface's history and past is unknown, with his original name forgotten to time. Prior to his encounter with Batman, he'd assumed many aliases to commit crimes. These included embezzling funds from S.T.A.R. Labs, stealing a priceless artifact from a museum, and murdering a famous actor. Prior to this, he took on various civilian identities to assist in these schemes, often people who had better access to these areas.
At some point after the Riddler's capture, Clayface was contacted by "Harvey Dent" to help psychological break down Bruce Wayne. In return, he would be granted access to Wayne's personal assets, including Wayne Enterprises and both Wayne and Arkham fortunes. To get close to Bruce, Clayface took on the alias of his long deceased grandfather Adrian Arkham, whom had been killed by his grandmother years prior.
Powers and Abilities[]
Due to the process that had turned him into a metahuman, Clayface was blessed with malleable flesh that could mimic both human flesh and skin. This provided several metahuman abilities to assist in his crimes.
- Shape-Shifting: Clayface was able to change his flesh to mimic everything on a human body, including scar tissue and injuries. He was also able to replicate fingerprints and dental records with incredible accuracy.

Weaknesses[]
Clayface began to lose form after being caught in a fire, indicating that his shapeshifting abilities faltered around heat. He also was incapacitated by James Gordon when the Captain used a fire-extinguisher on him.
