The second incarnation of Copperhead is an enemy of Batman and the Flash. She is a snake themed assassin with a heavy usage of venom. This iteration of the character is an adaptation of Copperhead seen in the video game Batman: Arkham Origins.
History[]
Background[]
Copperhead was a mercenary active in Gotham City. She had an adept knowledge of venoms and poisons, collecting deadly snake venoms from across the world and causing Batman to consider her the most toxic person in the world. Copperhead also had a habit for injecting her victims with her toxins to watch them slowly die.
When Two-Face placed a bounty on Batman's head while the two were travelling cross-country, Copperhead and Cheshire teamed up to fight the Dark Knight. Batman fought the two on a moving train before leaping off into a river with Two-Face.
Central City[]
Copperhead gave up her work as a mercenary to become a gangster in Central City, Kansas. Here, she engaged in a gang-war with rival criminal Captain Cold. In her battles with Captain Cold, she was assisted by the mercenary Shrapnel and fellow Gotham super-criminals Black Spider and the Trigger Twins said mercenaries were arrested by the Flash.
After this, Copperhead and Captain Cold joined forces however Copperhead was unaware that Cold was betraying her. While teaming up to fight Flash, Captain Cold hid a cryonic bomb on her person which the Flash saved her from. Following this, Copperhead went free due to a lack of evidence for any of her crimes.
Later history[]
Copperhead would seemingly go back to assassin work. She was hired to travel to Metropolis to attack reporters of the Daily Planet, only to be defeated by Superman and sent to Iron Heights Penitentiary.

- Claws: Copperhead has gloves protruding from her claws.
- Venom: Copperhead has a large arsenal of venoms of which she had a genius intellect in creating. Batman considered Copperhead to be the most toxic person on Earth due to these skills.
In Other Media[]
- Batman: Arkham Origins: Copperhead II is inspired by this games' reimagining of Copperhead.
- Gotham: Copperhead appears in the episode "Lovecraft" as a bounty-hunter for hire. She hunts for Selina Kyle and Dick Lovecraft after a bounty is placed on their heads by an unknown conspirator in the Murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne. The show also gives her the alter-ego "Larissa Diaz", though this is only mentioned in tie-in material.
