"Batman Versus the Vampire, Part Two"[]
Synopsis[]
After arriving in Hungary, Batman scowers the country looking for the Monk. One night, he spots a stagecoach he believe is transporting his enemy, prompting him to attack it and knock the occupant out with a gas capsule. After subduing the driver, Batman discovers that it was only a woman named Dala, who he takes back to his and Julie's hotel to interrogate her.
During the nighttime, Batman guards the two from outside their room, though Dala exits with blood on her lips. After she attacks him, Batman learns that she is a vampire and has fed on Julie. After he catches her in the hotel's courtyard, Dala offers to give him the location of the Monk in exchange for his death. After ensuring Julie's safety, Batman agrees and flies with Dala in the Batgyro.
As they approach the Monk's castle, the plane is caught in a giant net operated by magic. After being forced to land, the Monk appears and hypnotizes Batman, planning to take revenge for his interference in his plans. At Dala's suggestion, they summon Julie to the castle and force him to watch, goading that they will transform her into a werewolf. Taking Batman to their Den of Wolves, the Monk summons a nearby pack and forces him into a pit to die.
Unable to escape using his silken rope, Batman is forced to fight the wolves and subdues them with a gas pellet. Combining the rope with his Baterang, he uses the weapon to latch onto a marble pillar, allowing him to climb out of the pit. As dawn rises over the country, Batman scours the castle until he finds the coffins housing the Monk and Dala. He melts down a silver statue and fashions two silver bullets, using them to kill the two vampires as they sleep. With their spell over Julie broken, Batman takes her to the Batgyro to begin their journey home...
