Synopsis[]
"The Perfect Fighting Machine"[]
A criminal employs Dr. Moon to transform a flabby, unloved man into a “perfect fighting machine” called the Gork, and sends him against an ailing Batman.
The Batman has captured only minor figures in running down Ivan ANgst's terrorist organization, and collapses with a fever of 104 degrees. Even he has to take several weeks off---giving Angst and Moon time to carefully build the unnamed hunk of timid fat into "the perfect fighting machine".
But part of the operation severed the nervous system so he couldn't feel pain. And when the strain of fighting The Batman was too much for him, he collapsed and died. Realizing how expendable he had been treated, Gork grabbed and killed Angst with his dying breath. Moon escaped.
