Donald Clough Cameron was an American author in detective fiction, who dabbled in comics. Cameron is known as the creator of Alfred Beagle in 1943. (The modern Pennyworth version was re-imagined by Frank Robbins in 1969.) Cameron is also the creator of Tweedledum & Tweedledee, Mortimer Drake, the Batboat and the concept of batman keeping trophies which is a mainstay in the modern perception of the Batcave.
