Fura also known as Fura of Saturn is a possible future timeline Batman Villain originating from Batman #26 (1944). Fura is an alien dictator who is primarily a villain for the 31st century Batman, Brane Taylor.
History[]
Golden Age (Earth-2)[]
Fura is an alien dictator originating from the planet Saturn. Fura had an army of robots, and plans to conquer the entirety of the Sol System, apparently motivated by a Saturn nationalist ideology paralleling the nazis of Earth's 1930s-1940s. On the April 19th of the year 3000 at exactly 9:12 A.M., Fura's forces invaded the Earth where they destroyed its most major cities, and enslaved the human population while forcing many into concentration camps.
Fura's rule would be challenged by the likes of human revolter Brane Taylor and his nephew, Ricky. Brane fought Fura using the moniker of, "Batman", a vigilante alias which Brane learned from recovered footage of the original Batman Bruce Wayne, unknowing that he was also Bruce's descendant. Using guerrila warfare, Brane managed to free Earth and destroyed Fura's control-tower used to control the robots on Earth. Amidst this fight, Brane killed Fura by punching him into space.
New Earth (Possible Future)[]
When Damian Wayne and Terry McGinnis look into future timelines, only of the continuities percieved shows Brane and Robin continuing to save a dystopian Earth from the, "Iron Heel of the Fura". Whether this is the legion of a surviving Fura or simply Fura loyalists is unknown.
