Goatboy is a low-rent assassin in Gotham City
History[]
He wears a goat mask and carries a rocket-powered rifle, allowing him to shoot targets across the length of the entire city. In his civilian identity he works as a taxi driver to support his ex-wife and disabled child. He claims to know Gotham better than almost anyone because of his cab driving experience. The name Goatboy is a reference to Gotham, which literally means "Home of Goats," and a sketch by comedian Bill Hicks.
Leviathan[]
Talia Al Ghul placed a $500,000,000 bounty on Robin, in the name of Leviathan. Goatboy tried to collect by having his best friend Sam Lucas lead Robin through a slaughterhouse. The shot was lined up incorrectly, and Lucas was killed instead of Robin. In their next encounter, Goatboy targeted Robin while Robin was fighting the Mutant gang. Batman interrupted Goatboy, and persuaded him to lie to Leviathan instead. Goatboy showed Leviathan a staged picture of Robin shot in the head, and collected the bounty. This drove Goatboy to paranoia. He told Matches Malone that Leviathan sacrificed goats as part of their Kali worship, and he was worried they would sacrifice him next. To become a member of the League of Assassins, he needed to commit three murders for them. He murdered Small Fry to lure Batman into a house of killers. This operation was unsuccessful, and the assassins were defeated by Batman Incorporated. Goatboy threatened to kill the singer Lumina Lux as his third murder, but Lux stabbed him in the neck with a fork. This apparently killed him, ironically in a way that resembles animal sacrifice. Batman promises that Goatboy's child will be financially taken care of.
