Origins[]
Gorilla Grimm was an intelligent gorilla who lived in Gorilla City within the Congo. Grimm was a member of the regent Ulgo's inner-circle, "The Simian Scarlet" which were all being subconsciously mind-controlled by the evil Gorilla Grodd. This brought Grimm and Gorilla City into conflict with the Justice League.
Blüdhaven[]
On a later incident, Grimm moved to the city of Blüdhaven, New Jersey. Here, Grimm would join forces with crime-lord, "Blockbuster" who sought out the location of Gorilla City to find a gorilla-heart which could be transplanted for his own oversized one. Grimm's involvement with Blockbuster made him enemies of Nightwing while negotiating information on Gorilla City.
Grimm worked alongside Blockbuster and his Lady Vic to kidnap Oracle to pursue the city. Grimm also incapacitated Nightwing and his accomplice Nite-Wing when they infiltrated Blockbuster's lair. While attacking the two later, Grimm was defeated by Alfred Pennyworth with rubber-bullets.
Prime Earth[]
Gorilla Grimm is an intelligent gorilla originating from the advanced Gorilla City in the Congo. He moved to Gotham City in order to sell Gorilla City technology on the black-market until being defeated by Batman and the first Robin, Dick Grayson. After this, Grimm moved to Gotham's sister-city of Blüdhaven to lay low but also fought Nightwing.
Grimm joined a super-criminal support-group called the Run-Offs where he seemingly reformed. He'd fight Dick Grayson again during his time as Nightwing. However, Grimm was later framed for a series of murders by Run-Offs founder Mister Nice, who was a serial-killer that pinned his crimes on the group. Nightwing found out about this and defeated Mister Nice.
