Gotham City is the crime-ridden home of Batman. It has many rising buildings, and its previous mayor was Marion Grange, and its current mayor is Hamilton Hill.
History[]
Among Gotham's wealthiest is Bruce Wayne, and he resides in Wayne Manor. Gotham City is also home to most of the state's rogues. The Joining nearly destroyed Gotham during its invasion.
In the year 2027, Mr. Freeze attacks Gotham in his 2.0 freeze suit during Batman's final years. In the year 3027 after Batman's passing, a group of future police officers found the Batcave, and located the data for Batman's recorded message on how to defeat Freeze when he returned from his cryogenic sleep after his first defeat. Using holograms of Batman, Gray and his defeated Freeze and appended him, thus carrying on Batman's legacy.
