The Gotham City Police Headquarters or GCPD HQ is the base of operations for the Gotham City Police Department.
History
Gotham City Police Headquarters is located at the junction of the area called Five Points on the lower east side of Gotham City. The main building was first constructed in 1899.

The old GCPD building is located in the Amusement Mile of Arkham City. Commissioner Gordon closed this building 5 years before the events of Arkham City and moved to the new police station downtown. Despite being abandoned, it is part of the various slums of Arkham City. Mr. Freeze is located in this building, while using his lab materials to located his cryogenic wife Nora Fries. An epic boss battle between Mr. Freeze and Batman took place in the building so Batman can use the cure to Joker's illness.
