The Gunfight at Eastside Depot was an confrontation between The Batman, LT James Gordon, Selina Kyle and the Falcone Crime syndicate members.
Background[]
After Sal Maroni’s Operation was supposedly shut down by Gotham’s authorities when he was arrested, the Falcone crime syndicate take over the business.
Following the death of Gil Coulson, Batman and Gordon suspect that the Penguin could be the rat so they approach the Iceberg lounge and watch Penguin and several henchmen leave the club and follow them to the Eastside Depot where the drugs operation is up and running.
Gunfight[]
LT. Gordon drives to the warehouse and watches from from a distance meanwhile Batman is on the rooftop upon seeing the drugs, Batman implies that the operation was never shut up in the first place. The Dark Knight sees Selina Kyle approaching the building, she then takes out the twins. Batman then immediately meets with her believing she was only involved because of money, Kyle is reluctant to tell the hero anything, however she and Batman discover Annika Kosolov's body.
Suddenly, the Penguin and several henchmen begin attacking Kyle and Batman, Gordon then drives to the scene and shoots some of the henchmen dead meanwhile Batman lays on the ground with Kyle, constantly being shot at. With Penguin and the henchmen distracted Batman is able get away and starts up the Batmobile, Penguin notices this and shouts at William Kenzie to get the money, Penguin then escapes in his car with Batman chasing him. Selina is able to get away on her bike, she knocks Kenzie down and steals the money.
Aftermath[]
Batman is eventually able to catch up to the Penguin and destroy his car. Batman and LT.Gordon question Cobblepot on what he knows about the Riddler.
