Jessica Dent was the childhood friend of Bruce Wayne and Mayor of Gotham City. Working with both him and her brother Harvey Dent, she sought to disband the Penguin's criminal empire. After witnessing her brother's death in a riot, Jessica's sanity fractured and developed a violent persona based on her brother. This "Harvey Dent" would arrange a war in Gotham City, arming its criminals with high-caliber weapons.

Early Life[]
The twin sister of Harvey Dent, Jessica was the calmer and more hopeful of them. At some point, she became friends with Bruce Wayne, much to Harvey's disproval. The two remained in contact up to their graduation for high school, after which they went their separate ways, primarily due to her brother.
During Batman's early days in Gotham, Jessica was the President of the City's Board of Supervisors. She and Harvey were both investigating Mayor Oswald Cobblepot, suspecting him to be tied to criminal activities. After Cobblepot's death during a confrontation with the vigilante Batman, Jessica assumed the role of Mayor and set to disband his criminal empire.

Six months after Cobblepot's death, Jessica and Harvey learned that his empire had be split between five lieutenants. Deciding to ask for Bruce's help, she visited him at Wayne Manor and asked him to publicly assist them. During the meeting, she deduced Bruce was Batman after he suggested she ask for his help instead.

Trivia[]
- Though intended to serve as the Earth-1 version of Two-Face, Jessica is never referred to as the alias.
- Jessica shares a number of similarities with the version of Two-Face from Batman: The Telltale Series. Notably, both characters have served as the mayor of Gotham City, use masks to cover their facial scars, and lack the split-face disfigurement associated with the character (though this is optional for the game's version). Additionally, both characters have personal relationships to Bruce Wayne, though their split-persona targets him due to a personal grudge.
