Kenner was an American toy company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. They produced numerous action figures based on Batman and DC properties. Their first uses of the license were for the Super Powers Collection and reached their peak profits with the Batman Film Franchise merchandise, starting in 1990. Director Joel Schumacher was enthusiac about Kenner products enough to attend their events and pose for photo opportunities.
Kenner's movie figures were a cultural touchstone for the brand, recognized by contemporary creators like Jason Fabok, Nick Derington and Joe Quinones.
