Lila was Louie the Lilac's female assistant who assisted Louie in a plot to take over the "flower generation."
Biography[]
During a gathering of "flower children" (hippies) in Gotham City Park, Lila assisted Louie in hypnotizing and kidnapping Princess Primrose, in reality Thelma Jones, a college friend of Barbara Gordon.
Taking Primrose to his hideout, Louie locks her in his Lofthouse and sends his henchmen to get Barbara, who reports Primrose's kidnapping to her father Commissioner Gordon. However, Gordon is uninterested in the kidnapping, and Barbara contacts Batman and Robin to check out Louie's hideout. When they arrived, the Dynamic Duo were knocked out by Lila who threw poisoned lilacs at them, and Louie places them in his hot house filled with man-eating lilacs to kill the Caped Crusaders.
When Louie's henchmen arrive at Barbara's apartment to kidnap her, Barbara locked herself in her bedroom and changes into Batgirl. But before she could deal with Louie's henchmen, Gordon and Chief O'Hara arrive and Batgirl changes back into Batgirl to assure her father that she is alright.
Back at Louie's hideout, Primrose snaps out of her trance and Batman and Robin escape the hot house by killing the lilacs with cold air. After Barbara quickly changed back into Batgirl, she arrived at the hideout and a fight ensues. After defeating Louie, he, along with his henchmen and Lila, was apprehended by the police.
