Dr. Kirk Langstrom also known as Man-Bat was a scientist who appears in Beware the Batman.
History[]
Langstrom was working at the Gotham Zoo, when he transformed into a bat-creature after using the serum he developed, and Professor Pyg and Mister Toad placed him under their control and send him to commit robberies around Gotham City. When Batman and Katana tracked him down, Man-Bat fights Batman who seduces him with a serum that knocks him.
Taking him to the Batcave, Man-Bat reveals his real name and the cause of his transformation, and Pyg and Toad were controlling him as a diversion while they create an army of mutant human-animal hybrids. With Langstrom's help, the heroes defeated the villains and sent them back into custody, and Langstrom became the founder of the Outsiders.
Langstrom takes part in the battle with Deathstroke and helps Batman erase Wilson's memory about Batman's secret identity.
