Michael Cassidy is a stunt performer and coordinator. Cassidy was Michael Keaton's usual stunt double throughout the first half of his career, but did not work on Batman, likely because it was shot in England. He doubled as Batman in Batman Returns along with the main fight double, Dave Lea.
Cassidy doubled for Batman entering and exiting the Batmobile and some driving. Acted as the stand-in for the over-the-shoulder shot of the Shreck's explosion. He also did the slide-for-life during the Relighting of the Tree Ceremony and the finale at Arctic World. Other traditional stunts like taking falls and sliding backward down a rooftop after Commissioner Gordon's men shoot Batman were performed by him.
