Mindy Newell is an American writer. Newell expanded the origin of Frank Miller's Catwoman, scripting the character's first solo mini-series, creating Selina's sister Magdalene and characterizing them as orphans raised by nuns.
Newell was once married to John Higgins, who colored Killing Joke.
