"Is it just me, or is it really cold in here?"
―Mr. Freeze [src]

Doctor Victor Fries was a successful scientist majoring in the field of cryogenics. When his wife Nora was stricken witha fatal disease, Dr. Fries put her into suspended animation while he tried to find a cure. Unfortunately, the corporation funding Dr. Fries' work, and Nora's life, had halted funds, leading to a dreadful accident that transformed Fries into a cold-blooded being who must be kept at a temperature below zero Fahrenheit, creating Mr. Freeze.

LEGO Batman: The VideogameEdit

Mr. Freeze has recently escaped Arkham Asylum imprisonment and has joined forces with The Riddler, Clayface, Poison Ivy, and Two-Face. After his quest with Clayface to acquire the key from a small gold reserves, The Riddler sets out with Mr. Freeze to visit his hideout; The Ice Cream Factory for Freeze's Cannon.

Although The Riddler makes a clean getaway with the cannon, Mr. Freeze stays to thaw out his henchmen that have been temporarily placed in suspended animation. It is this that helps the Caped Crusader's arrest Mr. Freeze.

The last time Mr. Freeze is seen is at the end when he is in a prison cell playing with dolls. One of the dolls resembles himself, while the other resembles a henchman of his.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super HeroesEdit

Mr. Freeze appears inside Arkham Asylum when Batman and Robin try to investigate how the Joker was able to escape. In console versions, he is unable to escape his cell and helplessly bangs on the walls. In the portable version, he is fought and defeated.

After the massive breakout, he can be found in Open-World Gotham at the Gotham Observatory. He can be defeated and unlocked for use in the game.

Mr. Freeze has his freeze gun, which can be used as a weapon by temporarily freezing enemies/unfortunate victims. When encased in a block of ice, the enemy becomes extremely brittle, and can be destroyed in a single hit. If left too long, however, the ice will break, freeing the victim. His gun is also used to freeze various liquids in Lego Batman: The Videogame (freezable liquids are indicated with sparkling snowflakes) to create pathways or finish puzzles.

His suit grant him both immunity to toxins and grants super strength as well. Because of his superior strength, Freeze can move and lift heavy objects which the average character cannot. The immunity granted by his suit make him invulnerable to toxic gasses, radioactive sludge, and his own Freeze Ray. Mr. Freeze's henchmen are indicated with either blue or red parkas.
