Mr. Wilson was the father of Barbara Wilson, and brother-in-law of Alfred and Wilfred Pennyworth. He and his wife, Margaret Wilson, were killed in a motor accident five years prior to his daughter's activities as Batgirl, leaving his brothers-in-law to support Barbara.
