History[]
New Earth[]
Batman: Cacaphony[]
Onomatopoeia broke the Joker out of Arkham Asylum and after quarrelling with Deadshot, seemingly killed the hitman with a gun to the head (in reality Floyd was faking his death). Onomatopoeia went on to bribe Joker to start a gang-war with Maxie Zeus who had just recently begun to sell a narcotic known as Chuckles which was made from Joker Venom.
Onomatopoeia used this war to fight with Batman but when he lost the upper-hand, he stabbed Joker's heart to force the Caped Crusader to choose between saving the Clown Prince or capturing Onomatopoeia.
Widening Gyre[]
When Batman was apparently engaged to Silver St. Cloud, Onomatopoeia assumed the vigilante identity of Baphomet in Gotham City. Onomatopoeia seemingly did this in-order to gain Batman's trust and infiltrate the Batcave where he subsequently murdered Silver St. Cloud with a knife to the throat.
Prime Earth[]
As of the New 52, Onomatopoeia became a minor enemy of the Teen Titans.
