Owlman is the evil counterpart of Batman from a parallel universe. He was also a villain in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
History[]
After he and his team took over their Earth, Owlman travelled to Batman's Earth where they fought in the Batcave, but Batman defeated him and imprisoned him in a cell. After learning about his evil counterpart and his parallel world, Batman stole Owlman's costume and disguised himself as Owlman and travelled to his parallel world.
While Batman helped Red Hood defeat the evil counterparts of Batman's friends, Owlman escaped the cell and disguised himself as Batman in his original costume, reprogrammed the Batmobile and framed him by pulling off robberies. When Batman returned to his Earth and found himself wanted by the Police and his fellow crimefighters, he found Owlman and confronted him briefly.
After a tussle with his evil counterpart, Batman was rescued by the Joker, who was angry that Owlman was stealing his thunder. After consideration, Batman teams up with Joker to defeat Owlman by using a back-up Batmobile, and studying the files about him at the Batcave.
Locating Owlman and the other villains at a waxworks museum where he had captured the other heroes, Batman confronts his evil counterpart, who manipulates Joker into trapping him with a wax machine. Thinking they have defeated The Dark Knight, Batman suddenly appears from a portal with various heroic parallel counterparts of himself, and together, they defeated the villains, rescued the heroes, and apprehended Owlman and sent him back to his homeworld.
