Paul Karon is the owner of Karon Industries.
History[]
Prior to Rumors, Paul was testing a device that could emit low frequency sound waves strong enough to destroy a building. The government was as interested as Joker. Batman dropped in and stopped Joker, but could not stop him from firing a missile. The rocket hit support beams, which fell on Paul, paralyzing him.
In Rumors,Batman and Robin went to interrogate Paul after discovering Rumor uses technology from Karon Industries. Paul excused himself easily due to his condition and said the technology could have fallen from a truck.
The duo,unconvinced,decided to silently follow him. He dismissed his bodyguard, Mario, then dressed up in a suit of armor. After Rumor captured Joker, the duo went to interrogate him again. Paul yet again excused himself with his condition, but Robin states they know about his armor. Paul states that after the accident, he wanted to create something to help the disabled walk again.
Paul then used Theo as proof to Batman that he is not Rumor. Batman asked him where his other bodyguard, Mario is, and he told him it is his night off. Batman then came to the conclusion Mario is Rumor.
