The Pneumatic Mangler was a Device that Batman used and which was given to him by his friend Lucius Fox, The device was attached onto his Left arm therefore allowing him to break through things like vans and also when in Combat, But was originally left on his original suit.
When Batman first appeared in the parking garage while a man was walking with a gun, He had bended the barrel of the gun. And then He struck the guy in the face injuring him and Causing him to fall on the floor. Then he went after The Scarecrow and went after him by jumping onto his Van when it was moving. The Scarecrow didn't realize this and his van swerved Batman into a wall hitting him and injuring him a little bit as he was struck and hurt a little bit.
Behind the Scenes
- The Pneumatic Mangler was a device that was actully attached to Batman's left arm. It was shown in both films of Batman Begins and even it made an Apparence in The Dark Knight.
- The Pneumatic Mangler first served as Batman's weapon. Even though it was mentioned that Lucuis Fox made the Gadget using various devices.
- In Christian Bale's Interview, He said that he used the weapon at the start of the movie to Disarm one of the bad guys with. It was attached as a replacement on his left arm so that it would protect him from any attack.
