The Batman Family of Prime Earth
Prime Earth is the designation for Earth-0. Created in 2011 following the Flashpoint event, it is the current main continuity for DC Entertainment and their superheroes. Initially created as a continuity reboot for Batman and other characters, Prime Earth was initially intended to focus on younger versions of DC's superheroes, though with some continuity continued from New Earth. However, following DC Rebirth, the universe began to readjust to continue from the previous universe. Among the best known Batman contributors for Prime Earth include Grant Morrison, Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, James Tynion IV, Tom King and Peter Tomasi.
