Biography[]

Joker[]

Following Arthur Fleck being attacked by a group of teenagers, Randall gives him a gun to use for his protection in the future. But Arthur carelessly takes the gun along during a clown performance at the children's hospital, in which he accidentally drops the gun in front of the children and shocked hospital staff. Arthur is later fired from his job. When Arthur returns to collect his belongings, he reveals in front of his former colleagues that Randall provided him the gun, which angers Randall who accuses Arthur of lying. Arthur laughs off Randall's claims and leaves the building.

Several weeks later, Randall and Gary Puddles turn up at Arthur's apartment to give their condolences for their mother's death, and are left confused when they shot him shirtless and wearing white clown makeup. Arthur states he isn't involved in the latest clown themed riots in Gotham, and is only celebrating his mother's death. Randall reveals to Arthur that the police questioned him over the shooting and murders of three Wall street businessmen and says to Arthur they need to get their stories straight and look out for each other. Arthur retaliates by producing a pair of scissors and stabbing Randall in the throat, and later bashing his head into the wall repeatedly, killing him. Arthur chooses to spare Gary's life due to him being one of the few people who has been kind to him, and allows him to leave the apartment.

Joker: Folie à Deux[]

Randall is mentioned alongside Arthur's other murder victims. Arthur faces court for the murders he committed, with prosecutor Harvey Dent looking to give him the death penalty. Gary appears as a witness at the trial, and chastises Arthur for murdering Randall saying he didn't deserve it despite his antagonistic nature. Here his last name is revealed.
