Rocket O'Rourke was the female assistant of the Puzzler.
History[]
Rocket's acting skills helped the villain in his schemes. Her dream was to become a movie star and thought that working with Puzzler would somehow lead her to this end. She is also attracted to the jewels she receives as rewards for helping him. O'Rourke's most important task was to slip a sleeping potion into Artemis Knab's drink while pretending to be auditioning for a movie. She did not get a call-back.
When Batman and Robin came to the balloon factory, she acted as a receptionist while they go into the main factory where the Puzzler and his men fight them. After the Caped Crusaders defeated his men, Puzzler knocked them out with model airplanes with needles tipped with sleeping potion. After sending the Dynamic Duo on a rigged hot-air balloon, Batman and Robin managed to escape the death trap, and returned to the factory where Puzzler was surprised to see them alive, but he and his gang elude the Caped Crusaders.
After learning Puzzler's puzzle and his plan to steal the Retsoor jet, Batman and Robin fought Puzzler's men and captured them along with Puzzler himself and Rocket. When Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara arrived to arrest them, Rocket pleaded, saying she only wanted to be a movie star. Batman rebuked her saying that crime is not the answer and an ambition like that must be earned honesty. They were then all sent to jail.
