Rudy is the valet of inventor, Pat Pending. He appears in the Batman TV show episode, That Darn Catwoman.
History[]
He was discussing with Pending about keeping his money inside his mattress instead of in banks, when they were assaulted by Catwoman and her gang who stole the money.
While under hospital care, Pending and Rudy tell Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara that Catwoman mentioned something about a prince being weighted. After realizing she meant Prince Ibn Kereb of Gedallia, Pending explains that when the prince's weight on his side of the scales equals the weight of the money on the other of the scales, it gets turned over to the children of the country. Realizing the prince is Catwoman's next target, Gordon and O'Hara left to notify Batman.
After recovering in hospital, Rudy went to market while Pending counted his new lot of money. Gordon and O'Hara arrested Rudy while he was out and took him to police headquarters, thinking that he is Robin, due to Batman redirecting the Batphone's line to Pending's apartment. While confronting Pending in his apartment, Gordon and O'Hara assumed that he is Batman and led him to police headquarters.
After Gordon and O'Hara cleared their mistake with Batman and Robin after Catwoman's defeat, Rudy was released from jail along with Pending.
