Origins[]
Tristessa Delicias is a woman who became a cybernetic assassin in Argentina. For a time, she dated fellow Argentinian super-criminal, El Sombrero. Scorpiana's main love-interest was her hero counterpart El Gaucho, a vigilante inspired by the Batman. The two had an on-again/off-again hero/villain romance which lasted throughout their career.
Club of Villains[]
Scorpiana and El Sombrero were both recruited by the evil Dr. Simon Hurt to join his, "Club of Villains" which was devoted to fighting Batman and the vigilantes whom he inspired around the world. While in the club, Scorpiana used her robotic scorpions to assassinate affiliate criminal El Papagayo when he was being confronted by Batman and El Gaucho.
Scorpiana later travelled to Gotham City and kidnapped Nightwing whom was imprisoned within Arkham Asylum. Scorpiana also used her scorpions to assist Doctor Hurt's torture of Batman's butler Alfred Pennyworth. Ultimately, the club's schemes were unsuccessful and Scorpiana fled back to Argentina.
