The Solomon Wayne Courthouse was the base of operations for both Anarky in Batman: Arkham Origins and Two-Face in Batman: Arkham City.
History
Batman: Arkham Origins
The Solomon Wayne Courthouse was an actual courthouse in North Gotham, and was named after Bruce Wayne's ancestor Solomon Wayne. In the prequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, the Courthouse was used as a base of operations for Anarky. Batman defeated Anarky at the Courthouse and left him for the GCPD.
Batman: Arkham City
The Courthouse was closed down and was taken over by Two-Face after Arkham City opened.
After Catwoman attempted to steal from his old campaign office, Two-Face captured her at gunpoint and brought her to the courthouse to publicly execute her in front of his henchmen. With a flip of his coin, Two-Face decided to hold a trial instead of immediately killing Catwoman. But, no sooner than he started the trial, Batman himself arrived on the scene. Numerous thugs attacked Batman, but were quickly defeated by him. While Two-Face was distracted by Batman, Catwoman managed to escape and attacked her would-be executioner. A defeated Two-Face was hung over the acid tank, and Batman proceeded to get answers on the mysterious Protocol 10 from Catwoman. But, from the Bell Tower of the old Gotham Cathedral, The Joker prepared to assassinate his archenemy's "favorite cat" with a remote-controlled sniper rifle. However, Batman was too fast and was able to move Catwoman out of the bullet's path.
Two-Face eventually got free, but went into hiding, was humiliated by his defeat at the hands of both Batman and Catwoman, and also lost the trust of some of his gang members.
Later, The Riddler had one of his informants take the captured Officer Eddie Burlow from the Arkham City Medical Team into the courthouse, but he was rescued by Batman.
While Protocol 10 was in effect, the front of the courthouse was devastated by the TYGER helicopters, but it still stood after the assault.
Notes
- It was possible that Two-Face had abandoned the courthouse after his first defeat.
- Calendar Man was kept in a cell in the courthouse's basement after Two-Face took the courthouse from him.
