Sora was the wife of Ra's al Ghul 500 years ago, before he created the name Ra's al Ghul for himself. This was later retconned in a issue of Batman Annual by Peter Milligan and editor Jeannie Schaefer after Denny O'Neil retired, creating quite a discrepancy with meaning of the Birth of the Demon graphic novel.
