Talon is the Earth 3 counterpart to Dick Grayson's Robin. He was the sidekick to the super-villain, "Owlman".

Background[]
Talon was the costumed side-kick to the evil Owlman of the Crime Syndicate. He was actually the second to take up the mantle, as the first was murdered by Owlman's heroic nemesis, "The Jokester". Talon had to leave his mentor's side due to secretly having an affair with Joker's Daughter, the heroic daughter the Jokester, causing Owlman to disown him.
Teen Titans[]
Through unknown means, Joker's Daughter and Talon found their way to the reality of New Earth. On New Earth, the two joined the Teen Titans. Talon wound up leaving the Teen Titans after this.
Earth 3[]
Origins[]
Dick Grayson was the son of acrobats, the "Flying Graysons". The boy was targeted by the evil super-criminal Owlman who rigged the wire at the circus so that Dick's parents fell to their deaths before his eyes. Owlman kept the identity of his family's killer a secret and adopted Dick to be his protégée".
Talon[]
Dick wound up taking the identity of, "Talon" and terrorized Gotham by Owlman's side. When Owlman told Dick that it was in-fact he who killed the Graysons, he left and tried to join up with Owlman's extremist vigilante enemies. However, Owlman's arch-nemesis The Joker murdered Dick instead. Joker wound up dismembering Dick's corpse and sent Owlman a series of boxes containing his late-sidekick's different corpse parts.

The Talons[]
In Prime Earth continuity, Owlman and Talon inspired the evil secret-society, "The Court of Owls". The Court of Owls enforces their reign via meta-human assassins called, "The Talons". It is revealed that Dick Grayson was descended from the most predominate of these Talons, William Cobb, and that Haly's Circus was actually a front for the court to train their assassins.
Last Knight on Earth[]
In this possible future, Bruce Wayne went insane and used the decapitated head of Darkseid paired with his Anti-Life Equation built into a modified Bat-Signal to conquer Gotham as, "Omega". Dick took up the alias of, "Talon" in order to lead a new version of the Court of Owls, now an underground resistance to Bruce's reign. Talon lead the court which attempted to capture a Batman clone and Joker only to recognize his old mentor and team-up with him.
Dark Multiverse: Hush[]
In this reality, Bruce Wayne was never there to adopt Dick Grayson and save him from being indoctrinated into the Court of Owls. Because of this, Dick grew up to be an elite Talon who lead a new group of assassins known as, "The Gray Sons". Talon enforced the Court of Owls' rule over a sovereign Gotham City-state along with president Lincoln March and senator Thomas Elliot in their fight against, "Batman the Silenced".
