The Archer appears in two consecutive episodes of the 1960s Batman television series. Archer is a modern-day Robin Hood who robs from the rich and gives to the poor.
History
The Archer arrives at Stately Wayne Manor and steals the money from Bruce Wayne’s Safe and gives the money he stole to the poor.
Batman decides to look for a clue in Archer’s lair and makes Alfred distract the Archer when he does. Batman and Robin get found and got put in a trap! Batman and Robin got tied up on two poles and Archer and his Merry men are charging down towards them on horses about to hit the dynamic duo with jousting sticks, they escape using the hidden Bat-Springs in their boots.
Next Archer steals $10,000,000 from an armored truck that was delivering the money to the poor. Batman and Robin traced him to his ship, defeated Archer and his men, and retrieved the stolen money.

The Archer appears in three episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold. He appeared in the episode "Day of the Dark Knight!" trying to escape Iron Heights along with fellow inmates King Tut, Imposter Mad Hatter, Egghead, Bookworm, False Face, Black Widow, Siren, Marsha the Queen of Diamonds, Louie the Lilac, Ma Parker, and Shame. Egghead and the other villains were stopped by Batman and Green Arrow. He later appears in "Mayhem of the Music Meister!" as one of the many villains imprisoned at the local penitentiary.
The Archer is minor antagonist in the recent novel Batman Revolution.
