The Joker is a Batman villain that appeared in LEGO Batman: The Videogame. He was once a petty criminal who fell into a vat of chemicals. The toxic brew turned his skin white, his hair green, and his lips red, giving him the appearance of a crazed clown. Taking the alias of "the Joker," he henceforth started executing schemes that involve both jokes and puns.
History
LEGO Batman: The Videogame
After orchestrating the breakout at Arkham Asylum, he becomes one of the three main villains that form a group of inmates to perform crimes. He, along with Harley Quinn, Scarecrow, Killer Moth, and the Mad Hatter, plan to detonate several bombs in Gotham Cathderal and cover Gotham City in Joker Gas. He first goes to a chemical factory with Mad Hatter to create his Joker Gas. Next, he and Harley Quinn capture Commissioner Gordon to lure Batman and Robin to circus and attempt to defeat them. He and Scarecrow, then engage the Dynamic Duo in a mid-air battle, in which both villains crash their planes into the Gotham Art Gallery. Joker and Killer Moth then move towards the Cathederal to prepare the bombs, but Joker later dispatches Killer Moth to delay Batman and Robin when they begin to catch up to them. He and Quinn then arrive at the Cathederal and set up the deadly bombs. Batman and Robin thwart him, but in a last ditch attempt, he attacks the Duo with his joy buzzer, knocking them out. As he moves in for the kill, Batman strikes a bell, full of bats, causing the bats to attack Joker and Quinn, disorientating them as Commissioner Gordon and the police arrive at the scene. He is last seen in his cell at Arkham. Angry at his defeat, he pulls a gun out and holds it to his head. He pulls the trigger, and a "Boom" Flag shoots out, causing the Joker to laugh hysterically.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
The Joker returns in the sequel. The Joker along with Two Face, Harley Quinn, The Riddler and The Penguin attack the man of the year award ceremony and stole the trophy but he was defeated by Batman and Robin but he manages to escape with his speedboat but Batman and Robin follow him using the batwing and beat him in Gotham Fun Land and captured by a web of the Bat wing. He is later rescued by Lex Luthor so he could use his mind controling to win the elections and has reward he could uses the decontructer. The Joker frees most of the inmates and escape alongside Lex. He later stole some Chemicals from Ace Chemical Plant to create false cryptonite but Batman and Robin appear and get the false Kryptonite althought that false cryptonite has a tracker to locate the bat cave. He alongside with Lex attack Batman and Robin, destroy the Bat movile, the Batwing, the Batboat and the Batbike, steal all of Batman cryptonite and finale destroy the batcave and escape with Lex ship, and when Batman and Superman get to the ship the Joker activate a trap door that threw away Batman of the ship and escape. Then he and Lex start building a giant robot. When Batman and Superman manage to get in the Lexcorp building they uses the giant robot and the criptonite to make him weak and throw an anvil to Batman and finally escape but Batman and Superman changes places and go after them althought they manage to escape the robot jetpack starts malfuntionating and they fall into the metro station but they manage to repair it when Superman and Batman catch them, they cause several damage to the metro station and escape once again to Lex candidature speech. The joker uses his mind control gas upon the public but Superman manage to damage the robot and the Joker tries to smash Batman but is saved by Robin. The Joker tries start chasing Batman multicolored Batmobile but it was just a trick to contact the league. Then the Joker and Lex uses the robot to attack the Wayne building but it was stopped by the Justice League and then he has a fight against Batman, Robin, Green Lantern and Cyborg. The Joker has a final fight against Batman, Robin, Cyborg, Green Lantern, The Flash and Wonder Woman but was ultimately defeated and arrested alongside Lex by commisioner Gordon. He can be found at Ace chemicals where he can be bought to be a playable character. He has the same abilities of the previous games.
Abilities
- The Joker can use his Joy Buzzer to power up specific machines.
- The Joker is capable of passing over toxins and poisons without harm. He is the only mastermind who can do this.
