"The Twins" were members of the Falcone Crime Syndicate. The brothers both worked for Falcone's lieutenant Oswald Cobblepot, acting as bouncers at the Iceberg Lounge. The Twins would have several encounters with Batman during his investigations into their bosses' operations.

Biography[]

The Twins' early life is currently known. However, they'd entered Carmine Falcone's Crime Syndicate at some point prior to Riddler's operations. The Twins primarily worked for the mobster's underboss Oswald Cobblepot / The Penguin, serving as both as his bodyguards and bouncers at the Iceberg Lounge.

The Batman[]

Skirmish at the Iceberg Lounge[]

During Batman's first attempt to infiltrate the Iceberg Lounge, one of the Twins was guarding the entrance to the club. When the vigilante arrived, he recognized him and summoned his brother to back him up. Together, they attempted to intimidate the vigilante and dissuade him from seeing Penguin, though the vigilante responded by subduing them. They then informed other syndicate members of Batman's arrival, leading to the skirmish inside the club.

Whilst Batman fought the other members, the Twins equipped two shotguns and fired upon him after he subdued Kenzie. As they attempted to threaten him out, Batman responded by firing a grappling hook into the furthest twin's leg and pulling on the cable, knocking them both down. Penguin noted their defeat when he confronted Batman moments later.

Gunfight at Eastside Depot[]

The Twins also accompanied Penguin as he checked on Drops production at the Eastside Depot. Whilst their boss checked on the operation, they stood guard over their vehicles and money. However, one of the Twins was subdued by Catwoman, who bound his legs with a bike chain and pulled. Whilst his brother checked him out, Catwoman made her presence known to him, disarming and knocking him out.

Doormen Again[]

Despite their injuries and repeated subdual by Batman and Catwoman, the Twins returned to working at the Iceberg Lounge. Whilst Penguin met with Falcone, one of the brothers found Bruce Wayne at the door and demanded to speak to Falcone. After consulting the other, they agreed to let him in.

Later that night, one of the Twins heard a knock at the door, only to find no one there. Deciding to investigate, he unknowingly let a disguised Batman into the club, who shut the door. It is unknown whether the other brother fought the vigilante as he made his way through the Lounge or confronted Falcone in the Shorline Lofts. Both Twins were present during Falcone's arrest, backing Penguin up as he confronted him on his "ratting".

Trivia[]

  • The Twins are similar to the Trigger Twins from the comics, twin brothers who acted as mob-enforcers in Gotham City and Blüdhaven. Like the films' twins, the Trigger Twins are typically hired to act as bodyguards and enforcers by supervillains, usually the Penguin.
