Todd McFarlane is a Canadian artist. Best known as the creator of Spawn at Image Comics, as well as notable work on Spider-Man at Marvel Comics. McFarlane is partial to Batman, particularly the work by Frank Miller, whom he collaborated with on Spawn/Batman.
As far as work on Batman, he created the character designs of some new characters in the Year Two storyline and interior pencils of only 5 issues. He is the owner of McFarlane Toys, which currently has license create action figures based on DC.
