History[]
Prime Earth[]
Origins[]
Victoria is a transgender woman who was an ally of Batman prior to her transitioning. Prior to her transition, she suffered from great amounts of depression and anxiety which transitioning gave her the morale to combat. After transitioning, changed her full name to, "Victoria October", became the world's leading mind on "post-human bioweaponry" and a high-ranking scientist at A.R.G.U.S..
Batman[]
After Batman created his high-tech, "Belfry" base in downtown Gotham, Victoria was one of the few whom was allowed access. When Professor Hugo Strange released his monster serum on a portion of Gotham City, ARGUS put Victoria in-charge of the quarantined area. In her position, she made allies with Basil "Clayface" Karlo who found dead mutated monsters in the sewers for her to find a cure in.
Victoria and Clayface would become close friends with Basil entrusting her to find a cure for his condition. During this procedure, October gave Karlo a specialized gauntlet which kept his powers in-check and prevented him from going insane. This gauntlet was tampered with by a villain with the same condition called, "Mudface" to throw Clayface into a rampage. Victoria was able to give Cassandra Cain an unfinished version of the cure to inject into Basil, only for Karlo to be shot dead by Batwoman with a specialized bullet.
Victoria later gave the completed cure to Mudface as a tribute to Basil's memory. As it turned out, Clayface was still alive and before leaving Gotham, he had Cassandra deliver a final message to Victoria.
Alternate versions[]
DC Bombshells[]
A Russian version of the doctor named, "Viktoria October" appears in this Elseworlds story. Her work inspired Poison Ivy's own science, and she worked alongside Lois Lane and the Reaper to fight a nazi Hugo Strange.
